History Of Medical Arts Pharmacy
The Medical Arts Building was constructed in the 1950's in Sikeston, MO. It housed physician offices, a laboratory, and a pharmacy, Medical Arts. Medical Arts Pharmacy was owned and operated by the Largent Family until 1976. At that time the pharmacy was sold to Dave Young, who had ownership for approximately a year. In 1978, Kenneth Seiler, RPh and Richard Logan, PharmD purchased Medical Arts Pharmacy. Medical Arts was their 2nd pharmacy. Previously, in 1976, Richard and Ken purchased Hummel Drug in Charleston, MO. Since 1976, they have been behind the counter of the pharmacies, serving their patients.
Today the Medical Arts Building is a hub for medical care. In addition to Medical Arts Pharmacy, the building currently houses a physician's office, a clinical pharmacist, an optometrist, and a chiropractor. Through the years, Medical Arts Pharmacy has been the conerstone of healthcare in the building. Today, we continue the tradition of service begun so many years ago.
Medical Arts is open Weekdays 8:30am to 6pm and Saturdays 9am to 12pm.
